The Creux du Van, somtimes also called the "Swiss Grand Canyon", is a natural rock arena and lies in the Jura region in Switzerland. There is a mountain cabin (Le Soliat) close by where you can eat and drink or also stay for the night if you like to do that. There is also a good chance that you get to see ibexes or chamois up there as they are living in this nature reserve. 

The best way to experience the Creux du Van is by hiking up from Noiraigue in the Val de Travers. You can find more information about the hike under the following link: Sentier du Creux du Van - Wanderland (schweizmobil.ch)

You can also reach the Creux du Van by car as there is a road going all the way up to the mountain cabin Le Soliat. So don't be suprised to see a lot of people up there as it is a very touristic place.
